Up until the early part of July I was using a DODOcase for protecting my iPad. It seemed pretty nice, but during my world travels I discovered that the bamboo frame was rather fragile and started to crack. Worried about the well-being of my iPad, I needed to move to another solution.
A few weeks ago I received a DODOcase for my iPad. For those of you not familiar with DODOcase, it is a handmade “cover” for the iPad that makes it look like a bound notebook in the tradition of Moleskine. Having worked with it for some time now, I have to say it is absolutely wonderful and just the perfect case for me. Plus, I love the fact it is handmade with cradle made out of carved bamboo (some of you might know why this might be of interest to me). When I go out and want to read a book, I can — with my iPad in the DODOcase.
Well, it shouldn’t come as a big surprise but I picked up an iPad. It has been an interesting two weeks, and I have to say this little device (which I’m using right now) is living up to my expectations. Is it perfect? No. Does it reflect two decades of development? Yes.
